Emperor Capital (00717) said its profit attributable to owners for the year ended 30 September 2016 rose 22.2% year-on-year to HK$526 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK8.95 cents.
Total revenue was HK$986 million, an increase of 18.1% from a year earlier, driven by a surge in interest income, which offset the revenue decline in all other segments in response to the weakened market sentiment..
The proposed final dividend is HK1.28 cents (2015: HK1.6 cents) per share, payable on 24 February 2017.
