Emperor Capital (00717) said its profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 31 March 2017 rose 28% year-on-year to HK$330 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK5.09 cents.
Total revenue amounted to HK$627 million, an increase of 36.4% from a year earlier, driven by the growth of interest income from the money lending business and commission income from placing and underwriting activities..
The proposed interim dividend is HK1.38 cents (2016: HK1.2 cents) per share, payable on 22 June 2017.
