HK stocks closed lower on Tuesday after HSBC announced its results in the afternoon. The blue chips index opened up 93 points to 28,440 and it was 28,368 midday.
The Hang Seng Index ended down 118 points to 28,228. The H-share index ended down 32 points to 11,116. The turnover was HK$96.87 billion.
HSBC (00005) fell 2.290% to HK$66.15. China Mobile (00941) dipped 1.491% to HK$82.6. Tencent (00700) fell 0.883% to HK$336.8. HKEx (00388) advanced 1.739% to HK$257.4.
