HK stocks opened weaker on Wednesday following the 102-point decline of the Dow overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened down 157 points to 26,936. The H-share index fell 70 points to 10,625.
Blue chips were mixed. HSBC (00005) edged down 0.1% to HK$58.8. HKEX (00388) slipped 0.7% to HK$250. Tencent (00700) fell 0.3% to HK$335.6. China Mobile (00941) added 0.9% to HK$62.75. AIA (01299) gained 0.9% to HK$78.8.
