The Bank of East Asia, Limited (00023) said its profit attributable to owners of the parent was HK$3,260 million for the year ended 31 December 2019, a year-on-year decrease of 49.92%. The earnings per share were HK$0.89. A second interim dividend of HK$0.35 will be distributed.
The net interest income was HK$14,500 million, a year-on-year increase of 11.89%.
