Daiwa Research lifted its target price for Wharf REIC (01997) to HK$50.5 from HK$50.2 and reiterated its "buy" rating.
The research house noted that Harbour City was hard-hit by the collapse in tourist spending in Hong Kong, but it may have passed its worst and, incrementally, it is not likely to face major negative surprises.
Daiwa believes the mall has been able to retain considerable confidence from tenants, which should position it well once the COVID-19 situation stabilises and tourists return. It believes that Harbour City has considerable credentials to remain one of the most productive malls in the city and be viewed as a world-class asset.
