[ET Net News Agency, 13 November 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$127.08 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$16.28 billion, or 12.81% of the
market's turnover. There were 719 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.56 billion and HK$1.4
billion, or 9.57% and 8.61% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 16.01% and 20.63% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$789.11 million and HK$651.83 million
of short sales, accounting for 4.85% and 4% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 14.41% and 18.94% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed down HK$0.5, or 0.51%, to HK$96.84. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.12, or
0.44%, to HK$26.92. BABA-W fell HK$1.9, or 1.21% to HK$154.9. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$0.42, or 0.96%, to HK$43.28.
