[ET Net News Agency, 1 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$200.88 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$31.34 billion, or 15.6% of the
market's turnover. There were 798 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.69 billion and HK$3.34
billion, or 11.76% and 10.65% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 30.46% and 37.5% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$2.29 billion and HK$2.06 billion of
short sales, accounting for 7.31% and 6.56% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 15.8% and 26.17% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed up HK$0.22, or 0.24%, to HK$93.58. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.03, or
0.55%, to HK$5.52. BABA-W rose HK$3.4, or 2.24% to HK$154.9. XIAOMI-W declined by HK$0.72,
or 1.76%, to HK$40.3.
