rewriting a new 52-week high, and an intra-day low of HK$0.77. It triggered the Volatility
Control Mechanism (VCM) at 11:04a.m., putting it on a 5-minute cooling-off period, with
trading price range limiting between HK$0.66 and HK$0.98. The cooling-off period ends at
11:09a.m.
FIH is a constituent of the Hang Seng Composite SmallCap Index. When its share price
fluctuates more than 20% compared to the last trading price five minutes ago, the VCM is
triggered. VCM offers a cooling-off period of 5 minutes for the market and limits the
trading price range. It then resumes normal trading. VCM is only applicable to the
continuous trading session (CTS), excluding the first 15 minutes of the morning and
afternoon trading session, and the last 15 minutes of the afternoon trading session. (ed)
