墮入偷情網

　　王爾德說：「道德像藝術一樣，需要在某處畫一條線。」。

　　為何婚外情網站會愈開愈多？這些網站公然鼓勵已婚者蒙騙伴侶，在網路上大膽無恥地承認魯莽，承認出軌，彷彿他們的道德與忠誠是在eBay上出售的貨品。某個加拿大網站已累積超個八百萬名男女登記，68%是男人，他們的平均年齡為44歲。這些人明顯是被網站的口號吸引過來：「生命苦短。一嘗出軌」。試想像有八百萬人被誘導去偷情，而他們樂於參與。令人擔心的是這個情況不只見於西方，更已蔓延至亞洲，正正在我們身邊發生。我們的社會在腐壞嗎？道德蕩然無存嗎？

　　電影《紅字》以犯了通姦罪的Hester被押到刑台，被當眾羞辱的場面開首。Heste被迫一輩子載上代表「通姦」的「A」字。在中國，不忠的女人要按照傳統浸豬籠。不久之前，犯下偷情罪的戀人在中東會被亂石投擲至死，在愛爾蘭會被罰於身上塗上柏油再黏上羽毛。韓國法例的第241條為通姦罪，犯事者須入監兩年。韓國人以法律為一夫一妻制的社會保存道德與完整性，並保護他們的家族與後代。反觀可悲的香港，走私奶粉是罪行，但鼓勵已婚者出軌則是盤名正言順的生意。

　　「道德敗壞」是個法律概念，意指「違反與公義、誠實及良好品格的社會標準之行為」換句話說，在私人及社會責任上對他人或社會做出任何卑劣、討厭或腐敗之事，有違人與人之間權利與義務的公認慣例。婚外情網站做法卑劣，經營者顯然犯錯，他們偷換概念，迴避「道德」上的問題，打著「民主」旗幟，宣示每人均有選擇的自由，到最後你也可以不登記！做法正如在小孩的跟前放置糖衣毒藥，並告訴他們可以不吃。事實上，即使隱藏於扭曲的民主下，這門腐敗的生意仍是滔天罪行。

　　所多瑪及蛾摩拉兩城被火焰與硫磺吞噬，聖經將此紀錄為「神的審判」。在亞伯拉罕的傳統，兩座城已成為不知悔改之罪的代名詞，並為上帝展示憤怒的經典演繹。非基督徒或更容易追溯羅馬帝國瓦解的真正原因。羅馬人為出色的戰士，他們不是敗於更強的對手上。羅馬之所以步向滅亡全因思想腐化，及緊隨的道德淪喪等。妓院、鴉片館、邪惡……羅馬淪落為道德腐敗之地。

　　作為大都會的香港沒有軍隊，沒有政敵，短期內不會受炮火摧毀的威脅，可是，我們正被攻擊。有些人正污染我們的網絡，敗壞我們的道德，啃蝕我們的家庭，肆虐於我們的社會。讓我們站在同一陣線，拒絕這班害群之馬為賺到笑，向我們投下他們的有毒垃圾與放蕩歪理，破壞我們的家園、家庭與核心價值。

　　一樣米養百樣人。你可以選擇那一類人影響你的生活。如果你要堅守自己的價值觀及家族未來，你的世界將不存在偷情網站這部分。

Extramarital Dating Sites

　　What is the reason for the increase in extra-marital dating sites? These are websites which openly encourage married people to cheat, boldly and unabashedly,  admitting their recklessness and confessing their betrayals on the internet as though their morality and fidelity were up for sale on eBay !  Over 8 million men and women have signed up on one particular site from Canada, 68% men, averaged age 44. Apparently all attracted by its slogan, “Life is short. Have an Affair”. Imagine, eight million people were enticed to cheat, and they obliged. Worrying is that this is not only happening in the west, they have now come to Asia and all these are happening right here and now in our own backyard. Is our society decaying ? are we losing our morals?

　　The movie "The Scarlet Letter" opens with Hester being led to the scaffold where she is to be publicly shamed for having committed adultery. Hester is forced to wear the letter "A" (  for "adultery") for life. Unfaithful women in China were traditionally drowned in pig baskets. It wasn’t too long ago when illicit lovers guilty of cheating would either be stoned to death in the middle east or feathered and tarred in Ireland. Article 241 makes adultery a criminal offence in Korea, sending treacherous men to 2 years imprisonment.  Koreans use the law  to preserve the morals and the integrity of a monogamous society and to protect their families and children. Sadly in Hong Kong, smuggling milk powder is a crime, but wholesale depravity encouraging married people to cheat is not.

　　 “Moral Turpitude” is a legal concept which basically refers to “conduct  considered contrary to community standards of justice, honesty and good morals.” In other words, any act of baseness, vileness, or depravity in the private and social duties which a man owes to his fellowmen, or to society, contrary to the accepted and customary rule of right and duty between man and man. Extra marital dating sites is something so vile, so blatantly wrong that operators would often sidestep “moral” issues to justify their action on “democratic” grounds - that everybody has the freedom of choice, at the end of the day, you don’t have to sign up! Sure, It’s like putting poisonous candies in front of small children and tell them they can choose not to eat them.... The truth is, even hiding under the distortion of democracy, wholesale depravity is a heinous crime.

　　What happened to Sodom and Gomorrah in biblical terms was considered “Divine Judgment” when these two cities were completely consumed by fire and brimstone. In Abrahamic traditions, the two cities have become synonymous with impenitent sin and their fall with a proverbial manifestation of God’s wrath. Non Christians may relate better to the true reasons which led to the fall of the Roman Empire. Romans were great warriors, they did not lose to worthier enemies, Rome fell because moral degeneracy followed intellectual degeneration…It’s brothels, its opium dens, its depravity… Rome had fallen into moral putrefaction.

　　Hong Kong is a great city. We have no army, no political enemies, nobody is  about to bomb us to smithereens anytime soon, Yet we are being attacked. Someone is polluting our cyber, corrupting our morals, gnawing at our families and infesting our society. Let’s stand together and not allow perpetrators to  destroy our homes, our families, our core values  by dumping their toxic trash and debauchery on us while laughing all the way to the bank.

　　Society is a collection of individuals. You get to choose what individuals may influence your life. If you stand upright to protect your own values and the family’s future, then websites promoting affairs won’t be part of your world.
