Daiwa Research lifted its target price for Ping An Healthcare and Technology (PA Good Doctor)(01833) to HK$60 from HK$56 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house expects the recently announced official national guidance on NDRL (National Drug Reimbursement List) inclusion of online medical services to offer more potential opportunities for Good Doctor's online consultation business from 2020.
Daiwa said Good Doctor had 4 wholly-owned Internet hospitals in Qingdao, Yinchuan, Nantong and Hefei as at end-August. After its online medical service being included in NDRL, it expects a market size of CNY2.5bn just in Shandong Province. Daiwa narrowed its losses in 2019-20 and fine-tuned its 2021 earnings mainly due to better profitability.
