【避開面試地雷】迎撃HR的 “Any questions?”! 必讀3個範疇的問題

  每個工作面試都是一個升職加薪的好契機,打工仔當然會事先好好準備一番先去「應戰」啦。在一個面試內,HR一般會問你一堆有關「個人訊息」、「工作期望」、「未來的計劃」等等的問題,而在面試接近尾聲時,就總是最喜歡問你有沒有問題要提出 (e.g. “Is there anything else you would like to tell me? 你有沒有甚麼想提出來的?” 或 “Do you have any questions? 你有甚麼問題嗎?”)。回答了一輪又一輪各式的提問,終於來到面試尾聲的你以為可以鬆一口氣,簡簡單單say 個 no 就了事?少年,你太年輕啦!

 

  到底在一場英文面試中要怎樣回答這個問題才能讓面試官眼前一亮呢?

 

  其實在很多主考官認定的「不錄取標準」中,其中一項就是「沒有提出與工作相關的問題」。因此,在面試前應準備好有關「公司」、「職位」、「工作内容」、「公司内部教育」以及「公司所面臨的情況」等問題,以利提問。

 

*此時應該注意*

 

  1)避免問到招聘廣告中已經列出的項目。

 

  2)最好避免詢問有關薪資的問題。若是準備好的問題在面試中已經得到解答,還是建議play it by ear (隨機應變),即使只有一個問題也好,積極提問才是上策。

 

  為了大家可以更好地準備怎樣應付HR 的「最後一擊」,不要在面試中「臨尾香」,今次就打算與大家介紹一系列關於「公司」、「職位」「公司內部教育」的問題。

 

一、關於「公司」 

 

 

How many employees are there in the company?

公司有多少員工?

 

Do you have any recent graduates from __________ University working for you?

有剛從__________ 大學畢業的學生在 貴公司工作嗎?

 

How would you describe the atmosphere of the organization?

可不可以請您描述一下貴公司的風氣?

 

Could I visit the department to take a look at the facilities?

我是否可以參觀一下貴部門的設施?

 

Is the sales growth in the new product line sustainable?

新產品線的銷售狀況持續成長嗎?

 

May I have a copy of the current organization chart employee handbook, some in-house publications, and the job description?

可不可以給我一份最新的組織架構員工手册、公司內部刊物及工作内容説明?

 

Have any new product lines been decided upon recently?

最近有決定新的產品線嗎?

 

Do employees normally work long hours or overtime?

貴公司員工經常長時間工作或加班嗎?

 

Have there been any layoffs? When was the last one?

是否裁員過?最近一次是甚麼時候?

 

What major challenges is your organization currently facing?

貴公司目前所面臨的主要挑戰是甚麼?

 

How much independence is allowed in dress and appearance?

貴公司在服裝儀容上有多大尺度的自由?

 

Where are your other locations?

公司其他據點在哪裏?

 

Are there any bonuses or benefits that I should know about?

有甚麽津貼是我需要知道嗎?

 

How does the organization regard its employees?

貴公司如何看待員工?

 

Would you be able to tell me the company's financial situation?

我可以知道貴公司的財務狀況嗎?

 

Would this position lead to any other job openings?

有可能從這個職務換到其他職缺嗎?

 

How long ago was this organization established?

貴公司是多久以前成立的?

 

Is the organization privately held? If yes, who owns it?

貴公司是私人公司嗎?若是如此,哪一位是老闆?

What are the principal duties of this department?

這個部門的主要工作內容為何?

 

How much travel is normally expected of this position?/

Are business trips frequently required in this position?

這個職位需要經常出差嗎?

 

Is there anything I could do that would make me more qualified for this position?

為了符合這項工作的必備條件,有甚麼我可以做的嗎?

 

Is a car provided for business trips?

出差時公司會提供車輛嗎?

 

What is the most important responsibility?

這份工作主要職責何在?

 

How much contact and exposure to management is there?

大概多久跟管理階層接觸一次?

 

What is the normal routine of a ____like?

____的日常業務內容是甚麼?
