1. Bring forward 把…提前；提前（某件事）的日期或時間
Example:
The meeting has been brought forward to this Saturday instead of next week.
會議已提前到本周六而非下周。
2. Call off 取消
Call off的意思是「取消」。它在日常生活中很常用，無論是口頭上或書寫上都常派上用場。後面的介系詞off具有「去除」的意涵。
Example:
Tomorrow’s meeting has been called off, and it will probably be rescheduled for next week.
明天的會議將會取消，可能會改爲下星期舉行。
3. Draw up 草擬（e.g. 合同）

Example:
I’ll draw up the contract and send it to you by this Friday.
我將草擬合同並將其在本星期五之前發送給您。
4. Wind up 結束
Example:
I’d like to wind up the meeting by 12 p.m.
我想在下午12點之前結束會議。
5. Look forward to (+ing) 期待
表示期待並對即將發生的事情感到興奮。
Example:
I look forward to seeing you all again next month for our follow-up meeting.
我期待著下個月再次見到大家。
6. Jot down （快速）寫下來; 草草記下

*不要説錯成“drop down”
Example:
I find it useful to have a notepad to jot down the details of the conversation, so that I can read it just before meeting again.
我認爲在記事本記下對話内容是很有用的，這樣，我就可以在下次會面之前再閱讀一次其内容。
7. Run out of 用完；花光
Example:
I'm afraid that we are running out of time. Let's wrap up our discussion for today.
時間差不多了，讓我們結束今天的討論吧。
8. Get back to 給（某人）回話；回覆（某人）
Example:
It would be great if you could get back to me by next Friday with the outcome.
如果您能在下周五之前與我聯繫並告知我結果，那就太好了。
9. Figure out 弄清楚；解決；弄明白
Example 1:
Our objective for today is to figure out a solution for this supplier crisis we’re going through.
我們今天的目標是為我們正在經歷的供應商危機找到解決方案。
Example 2：
I cannot figure out why he quit his job.
我不知道他為什麼辭職。
Example 3:
To this day, I still can't figure out how the board members can defend their decision.

10. Go over (something) 仔細檢查、考慮或確認
這個說法經常用來談論“為保證信息準確而再次察看某事”
Example:
Let 's go over the draft once again.
我們把這篇稿子再仔細檢查一遍吧。
11. Hand out 分發

Example:
Now, I’m going to hand out the folders.

12. Look into 調查；深入了解；研究
To try to discover the facts about something.
Example:
We has set up a working party to look into the problem.

13. Deal with 處理；應付
Example：
Our department head will deal with the training of new staff members.
我們部門的負責人將處理新入職員工的培訓。
14. Take over 接任；接管
Example：
Jason took over as senior manager two weeks ago.

15. Get ahead 進步；升遷；取得進展
Example：
If you want to get ahead at work, it's important to keep up with the latest trends.
