HSI opens up 200 pts to 28,360; H-share up 114 pts to 11,471


[ET Net News Agency, 20 October 2017] HK blue chips opened higher on Friday despite the
flat closing of the US equity markets overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened up 200 points
to 28,360. The H-share index rose 114 points to 11,471.
China Unicom (00762) jumped 3% to HK$11.5 after the carrier issued positive profit
alert. AIA (01299) dipped 1.5% to HK$60.2 after it reported VoNB growth of 20% in 3Q.
Market heavyweights were firmer. HSBC (00005) edged up 0.7% to HK$76.5. China Mobile
(00941) gained 1.5% to HK$79.5. Tencent (00700) nudged up 0.5% to HK$348. Hong Kong
Exchanges and Clearing (00388) rose 0.7% to HK$219.2. (KL)
