[ET Net News Agency, 11 October 2021] Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (00175) said
the total sales volume of the group (including the sales volume of LYNK & CO-branded
vehicles sold by the group's 50%-owned joint venture, namely LYNK & CO JV) during the
month of September 2021 was 103,936 units, a decrease of approximately 18% from the same
period last year, but up approximately 18% from August 2021. During the month of September
2021, the impact of the epidemic in some regions and the global shortage of chip supply
continued to affect the group's delivery volume. Of the total sales volume in September
2021, 11,177 units were new energy and electrified vehicles, an increase of around 83%
from the same period last year, achieving the highest monthly sales volume level since
November 2019.
The group's exports volume was down approximately 1% year-on-year to 8,013 units in the
month of September 2021. During the month of September 2021, the group's total sales
volume in the China market was 95,923 units, a decrease of around 19% from the same period
last year. The total sales volume in the first nine months of 2021 was 921,796 units, an
increase of approximately 5% from the same period last year, achieving 60% of the group's
full year sales volume target of 1,530,000 units in 2021. (RC)
