{I-bank focus}HSBC raises AIA (01299) to HKD102

[ET Net News Agency, 6 November 2023] HSBC Global Research raised its target price for
AIA (01299) to HKD102 from HKD100 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house said it has made minor adjustments to estimates. It believes AIA
remains attractively valued at 1.55x 2023e EV for 14.7% normalised returns, 15.1x 2024e
PE, 16.4x implied new business multiple and 10.7% implied COE.
Key downside risks are weaker-than-expected NBV growth in key markets, adverse financial
market movements and departure of key executives. (RC)
