There were 827 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.98 billion and HK$1.71 billion, or 13.69% and 5.87% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 41.37% and 51.07% of respective stock's turnover.
HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.56 billion and HK$1.26 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.36% and 4.33% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 35.75% and 35.12% of respective stock's turnover.
