There were 872 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.93 billion and HK$2.76 billion, or 6.55% and 6.18% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 26.5% and 28.09% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and SMIC (00981) registered HK$2.69 billion and HK$2.04 billion of short sales, accounting for 6.02% and 4.56% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 23.22% and 15.21% of respective stock's turnover.
