There were 826 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.16 billion and HK$1.34 billion, or 20.4% and 6.55% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 46.09% and 50.26% of respective stock's turnover.
KB LAMINATES (01888) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$883.56 million and HK$792.98 million of short sales, accounting for 4.33% and 3.89% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 17.74% and 8.89% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.012, or 0.25%, to HK$4.778. XL2CSOPHYNIX ended down HK$2.08, or 6.7%, to HK$28.98. KB LAMINATES fell HK$4, or 10.43% to HK$34.36. TRACKER FUND jumped HK$0.16, or 0.61%, to HK$26.32.
