There were 859 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.33 billion and HK$3.27 billion, or 11.89% and 8.98% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 30.69% and 11.07% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and LENOVO GROUP (00992) registered HK$2.1 billion and HK$2 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.77% and 5.48% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 27.76% and 16.86% of respective stock's turnover.
