There were 829 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.36 billion and HK$1.11 billion, or 15.68% and 5.19% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 45.43% and 33.04% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and MINIMAX-W (00100) registered HK$701.7 million and HK$602.44 million of short sales, accounting for 3.28% and 2.81% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 13.35% and 21.51% of respective stock's turnover.
