The Mac mini is equipped with M6 and M5 Pro chips, featuring more CPU cores. Its next-generation GPU delivers enhanced graphics processing performance, making it a powerful on-device AI computing platform. The Mac Studio, powered by M5 Max or M5 Ultra chips, is described by Apple as the "ultimate professional desktop computer."
Apple also demonstrated connecting four Mac Studio units together to run a trillion-parameter AI model—a task that typically requires a data center.
