Taiwan stock market rises 0.75%, closing at 48,157.29, another record high

The Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index closed up 0.75% today at 48,157.29, another record high, with a turnover of NT$855.953 billion.

The cement sub-index performed the best, rising 2.84%; the electronic components sub-index rose 1.49%; the construction sub-index fell 2.41%. (jq)
