Data shows that Bitcoin rose 4.8% in July, 25.2% in August, and continues to remain in an upward trend in September. If Bitcoin ends September with a gain, it will mark the second time in Bitcoin's history that it records three consecutive monthly gains.
In July, August, and September of 2012, Bitcoin rose 41.0%, 6.4%, and 24.4% respectively. Although it declined 9.7% in October, following a low of $10.17 on October 26, Bitcoin began a sustained rally lasting 165 days, reaching $230 by April 2013, an increase of over 2000%.
Analysts point out that the precedent from 2012 is too limited, having occurred only once, making it insufficient to determine the current trend based on that alone. However, the rarity of this pattern, the significant subsequent rise after 2012, and Bitcoin's four-year market cycle remain noteworthy. (rc)
