WuXi AppTec announced that all outstanding bonds of the USD-denominated zero-coupon convertible bonds due in 2027 with a total principal amount of RMB 6.78 billion have been fully converted into H-shares in accordance with the terms and conditions of the bonds as of yesterday. As a result, there are no outstanding issued bonds remaining, and the arrangement for early redemption of the bonds will no longer proceed.
The group stated that the delisting of the bonds from the Vienna Stock Exchange is expected to take effect at the beginning of trading hours on the 25th of this month.
Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 24,697, down 136 points or 0.6%, with turnover on the main board exceeding HK$34.3 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index stands at 8,236, down 36 points or 0.4%. The Hang Seng Tech Index stands at 4,341, down 37 points or 0.9%. (vs)
