Jinchuan International announced that it has fulfilled the resumption of trading guidelines and has applied to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for resumption of share trading, effective from 9:00 a.m. today. The group stated that, at its request, the shares have been suspended from trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since March 28 of last year. As the resumption conditions have been met, the application for resumption has been submitted. The group's trading was suspended from 9:00 a.m. on March 28 of last year, closing at HK$0.636 prior to suspension.
Last month, Jinchuan International announced that its attributable profit for the six months ended June 30 amounted to $47.816 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.66 times.
Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 24,393, down 129 points or 0.5%, with trading volume on the main board exceeding HK$2.9 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is at 8,135, down 42 points or 0.5%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,232, down 17 points or 0.4%. (vs)
