HONG KONG ECONOMIC TIMES, March 30 (ETN) - Taiwan Weighted Index opened 0.3% higher this morning at 47,767.49 points.
At 9:05 am, all sector indices were up except for the household living index, which fell 0.16%. The optoelectronics index led gains, rising 1.9%; computer peripherals index rose 1.76%; other electronics index rose 1.74%. The weighted average index stood at 48,125.07 points, up 1.04%. (jq)
