BYD stated that the overseas debut of the TANG Z proved to be very correct. In the future, BYD will better communicate the company's core technologies and the unique stories of its engineers, ultimately achieving a position of high-end luxury—not just as vehicles, but as a lifestyle and emotional connection. Subsequently, the Yangwang brand will also hold launch events overseas. According to current data, many customers purchasing the Song model overseas have transitioned from traditional premium brands.
It is understood that Yangwang is the highest positioned brand within BYD's system, targeting the million-level market as a top-tier new energy luxury brand, with TANG positioned just below Yangwang.
BYD is currently up 1.67%, trading at 83.39 yuan.
Additionally, regarding globalization, BYD revealed that in terms of local factories, the Brazil plant is expected to produce around 250,000 units this year, and the Hungary plant will soon begin formal production. The company plans to invest in and build more factories in the future. Going forward, the company aims to transform from "China's BYD" to "the world's BYD," and ultimately become "local BYD," integrating its technology into local culture, history, and art during the brand-building process. For example, currently in Europe and South America, the company's products are dream cars for many consumers, who see the company not only as an automaker but also as a high-tech enterprise. If consumers cannot initially afford a Yangwang, they may start with a Seagull, then progressively upgrade to the Song or Fangchengbao, with the ultimate goal of owning a Yangwang U8L or U9.
Notably, earlier this month BYD released a set of teaser images for a new ultra-luxury executive sedan under the Yangwang brand. Zheng Yu, Assistant General Manager of Yangwang Automobile and head of marketing and user development, stated that the new vehicle will, as always, bring unprecedented disruptive technologies. (jq)
