Chuang Technology (06802), a component supplier for robotic vacuum cleaners, fell 42.1% on its second trading day, opening at HK$124.7, which remains 1.12 times higher than its IPO price of HK$58.85. The stock traded around 390,000 shares, amounting to HK$55.43 million. With a board lot of 100 shares and excluding transaction fees, each lot made a paper profit of HK$6,585.

　　The company's previous IPO results showed that the Hong Kong public offering received around 157,000 applications, representing an oversubscription of approximately 3,545.91 times. Among the 57,000 applicants who applied for one lot of 100 shares, only 1,143 were allocated shares, resulting in an allocation rate of 2%, with no applicant guaranteed one lot.

　　Other recent IPOs generally declined: SP Chemicals (09607) fell 4.6% to HK$38.34; Seal-Soft (06727) dropped 6.8% to HK$32.14; and MechaMan Robotics (09615) declined 2.5% to HK$78.5.

　　Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 23,969, down 644 points or 2.6%, with main board turnover exceeding HK$30.4 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is at 8,021, down 198 points or 2.4%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,146, down 107 points or 2.5%. (am)
