NIO announced that it delivered a total of 37,408 new vehicles in September, representing a 7.7% year-on-year increase and a 4.4% month-on-month rise. In the third quarter ended September, the company delivered 109,178 vehicles, up 25.4% year-on-year and down less than 0.1% quarter-on-quarter. Cumulative deliveries for the first nine months reached 300,301 vehicles, a significant 49.2% increase compared to the same period last year.
Among the 37,408 new vehicles delivered in September, 21,318 were under the NIO brand, 8,763 were Lecheng brand vehicles, and 7,327 were Firefly brand vehicles. Within the month, NIO's all-new ES8 achieved the milestone of 150,000 units delivered within one year of launch, ranking first in both the large SUV and the RMB 400,000-class vehicle segments in terms of cumulative sales within one year of launch. As for the ES9, since deliveries commenced on May 28, it has reached the milestone of 30,000 units delivered, ranking first in sales among RMB 500,000-class electric vehicle models for three consecutive months.
Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 23,936, down 676 points or 2.8%, with turnover on the main board exceeding HK$112.4 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is at 8,015, down 204 points or 2.5%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,139, down 113 points or 2.7%. (am)
