Japanese stocks fell in the afternoon session, closing the day at 68309, down 647 points, yen exchange rate at 157.68

The Economic Information Daily News (June 2) reported: Japanese stocks declined in the afternoon session. The Nikkei 225 Index closed at 68309, down 647 points or 0.94%. The South Korean KOSPI index closed at 7003, up 32 points or 0.46%.

The US dollar against the Japanese yen was quoted at 157.67/69.
