Dragon Resources announced that it has received the final assay results from three underground diamond core drilling holes completed at its Jokisivu gold mine in southern Finland, where high-grade sample intervals were discovered.
The company stated that the drilling program has identified the vein extent within the Arpola target area, providing important data on scale and morphology. High-grade intervals from the drilling include results from hole Arpola-82026, with gold grades ranging from 13.6 to 36.2 grams per tonne across six drill holes.
The company noted that drilling has demonstrated gold mineralization at the Kujankallio area extends vertically over 710 meters from surface, while mineralization at the Arpola area extends vertically over 480 meters from surface. The Jokisivu deposit remains open at depth and along strike.
