Su said AMD is "very satisfied" with Samsung's new generation memory HBM4, considering its performance excellent. Samsung and SK Hynix have provided "strong support" for HBM4, and AMD is encouraging them to quickly expand production capacity.
She also said that due to ongoing supply tightness, AMD is working with customers to optimize memory footprint. Memory footprint refers to the total amount of main memory occupied or consumed during the execution of a program or software. (rc)
