Nikkei 225 index opens down 0.3%, South Korea's KOSPI composite index flat

    EDB News Agency reported on the 8th that the Nikkei 225 Average Index opened down 0.3% on Thursday, at 69840.64 points, with machinery and financial stocks dragging down the market. South Korea's KOSPI Composite Stock Price Index opened flat at 6808.68. (yc)
