{Economic Information Daily, 8th} The biotech sector continues to retreat, Innovent Biologics (01801) fell 3.2%, closing at HK$94.35, marking its second consecutive day of decline with a cumulative drop of 5%; Insilico Medicine (03696) plunged 6.3%, leading the decline in the biotech index, trading at HK$49.64, marking its second consecutive day of decline with a cumulative drop of 16.3%; WuXi AppTec (02359) dropped 1.6% to HK$214.8, marking its second consecutive day of decline with a cumulative drop of 1.7%; InnoCare Pharma (09969) declined 4.8% to HK$12.86, marking its second consecutive day of decline with a cumulative drop of 8%.

　　A-shares resumed trading today, and Stock Connect trading has resumed. Prior to the return of northbound funds yesterday, biotech stocks saw profit-taking, with the biotech index falling nearly 3% or 462 points. Today, the biotech sector continues to retreat, with the sector recording an active net outflow of approximately HK$171 million, and the biotech index down nearly 1.2% or 194 points, currently at 16,106 points.

　　Before the National Day holiday, biotech stocks attracted inflows, with several large-cap biotech stocks performing strongly. On September 30, the biotech index surged 600 points or 3.7%.

　　Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 24,057, down 72 points or 0.3%, with turnover on the main board nearing HK$83.7 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is at 8,095, up 13 points or 0.2%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,131, down 63 points or 1.5%.
