RoboRock announced the acquisition of all equity interests in SABO-MASCHINENFABRIK GMBH, with the transaction amount not exceeding 6 million euros (approximately HK$52.74 million).
The group stated that SABO is a long-established German garden machinery manufacturer, distributing its products through more than 1,400 retailers across Europe, and recorded a profit of 1.142 million euros last year. The group noted that the acquisition secures European brand assets, distribution channels, service networks, and localized supply chain resources, reducing the channel development costs, time costs, and service barriers for its smart gardening robots entering the European market. The group indicated that approximately 75% of the transaction amount will be funded from proceeds of the global offering, with the remaining 25% funded from internal resources.
Currently, the Hang Seng Index stands at 23,972, down 158 points or 0.7%, with main board turnover exceeding HK$124.4 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index stands at 8,064, down 18 points or 0.2%. The Hang Seng Tech Index stands at 4,116, down 78 points or 1.9%. (nw)
