The Green Energy and Environmental Protection sub-index performed the worst, down 2.57%; the Glass sub-index fell 2.55%; the Oil, Electricity, and Gas sub-index rose 3.04%.
TSMC announced that its sales for September reached 511.86 billion New Taiwan dollars, down 0.6% month-on-month and up 54.6% year-on-year. TSMC closed down 1.35% today, at 2,550 New Taiwan dollars. (jq)
