[ET Net News Agency, 9 October 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 155 points higher today at 23,941. It reached a high of 24,224, up 438 points, and a low of 23,941, up 155 points. The Hang Seng Index closed up 425 points, or 1.8%, at 24,211.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$290.67m for the full day, decreased by 95.5%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were AIA (01299), BABA-W (09988) and Z.AI (02513) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were TRACKER FUND (02800), XIAOMI-W (01810) and YOFC (06869) in that order.
