SSE Composite Index closes up 0.05%, holding above 3800, down 0.74% for the week, falling for three consecutive weeks

   A-shares reversed after early losses today, with the SSE Composite Index closing up 0.05% for the day, regaining the 3,800 level to close at 3,813.79 points. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.17%, while the ChiNext Index gained 0.22%. Trading volume in the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets reached 1.9006 trillion yuan (RMB, same below), an increase of 218.5 billion yuan, or 13%, compared to the previous trading day.

  On the market, film, entertainment, and AI short drama-related stocks surged. Zhongwen Online (SZ:300364) and Mango Excellent Media (SZ:300413) hit their upper limits. China's first AI hyper-realistic theatrical film, "Sanxingdui: Future Past," will be released nationwide on the 23rd of this month. Spot gold broke above $4,200, driving gold-related stocks higher across the board, with Western Gold (SH:601069) hitting its upper limit. Brokerage stocks rallied in the afternoon, with East Money (SZ:300059) rising nearly 4%.

  Meanwhile, the MLCC, PCB, and CPO segments of the chip supply chain continued to correct, with Yuanjie Technology (SH:688498) plunging 6.5%.

  With only two trading days this week, A-shares stabilized after a sharp drop one day, but still fell 0.74% for the week, marking three consecutive weeks of declines with a cumulative drop of 2.53%. Sino-European relations have tightened. After Germany and France proposed that the EU strengthen trade defense measures, 44 European industry associations urged the EU to immediately act against so-called "China's unfair trade practices." At the same time, EU Trade Commissioner Šefčovič visited Beijing for consultations aimed at narrowing the trade deficit with China. The outcome of the talks is expected to influence the subsequent EU parliamentary review of trade measures. (ry)
