South Korea's KOSPI index currently at 6450, plunging 175 points, yen exchange rate at 158.21

{Econet News Agency, 12th Special Correspondent} South Korea's KOSPI index is now reported at 6450, down 175 points or 2.65%.

The US dollar against the Japanese yen is now quoted at 158.2/22.
