Yesterday (12th), the Hang Seng Index only reached a high of 24,456. No phenomenon of major bullish investors successfully continuing upward accumulation was observed in the Hang Seng Index bull-bear warrant market, indicating they currently lack the ability or urgency to push higher. Since the low of 24,358 on the 17th of last month has been surpassed, the previous bearish pattern of 'lower highs' initiated from the peak of 26,188 on August 4 has been preliminarily disrupted. However, for short-term bulls to formally regain market control, they must first successfully push the index above the previous uptrend peak, i.e., above 25,254, the high reached on the 22nd. Given the current unfavorable investment climate for stocks, this scenario seems unlikely to occur in the near term. Therefore, short-term speculators at this stage should only use small positions, trading within the range between the low of 23,737 on the 8th of this month and the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level of 24,675 from the decline starting at 25,254, following signals from the Hang Seng Index futures hourly chart to seize opportunities for short-term profit-taking by holding Hang Seng Index bull-bear warrants.
