SSE Composite Index closes up 0.1%, barely holding above 3,800; battery and lithium mining stocks weaken throughout the day

The Economic Information Daily reported on the 13th: The A-share market rebounded after an initial decline, with the three major indices showing mixed performance. The SSE Composite Index rose 0.1% to close at 3,800.86 points, holding above the 3,800 level, while the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.25% and the ChiNext Index dropped 0.18%. Total trading volume for the day reached 1.68 trillion yuan (RMB, same below), an increase of 138.1 billion yuan, or about 9%, compared to the previous trading day.

On the market, battery and lithium mining-related stocks weakened throughout the day, dragged down by news of a reduction in the value-added tax export rebate rate for new energy vehicles and a sharp decline in lithium carbonate futures prices. Chuan Yi Technology (SZ:002866) and Zhongwei New Materials (SZ:300919) hit the daily trading limit down. Insurance stocks declined collectively, after a so-called "weekly report" attributed to "Liang Hong of Xiva Private Equity" began circulating widely on social media from October 11. The report mentioned that certain major insurance asset management firms bought large amounts of tech stocks at high levels in July but significantly reduced positions to cut losses by late September, sparking widespread attention.

On the upside, CPO-related stocks rebounded with volatility. Huashengchang (SZ:002980) surged to the daily limit, while Lianxun Instruments (SH:688808) rose over 4%, with its share price surpassing that of Kweichow Moutai (SH:600519), reclaiming the title of "stock king." Late last night, Lianxun Instruments released a profit forecast announcement, projecting a net profit increase of 1866.00% to 2072.95% year-on-year for the first three quarters of this year. Additionally, the 16th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (also known as Zhuhai Airshow) will be held from December 7 to 13, with preparations progressing smoothly. The organizers announced that a series of products showcasing China's latest independent innovations in aviation, aerospace, and defense technology will be unveiled collectively, driving strong gains in military trade-related stocks.
