Japanese stocks plunged in afternoon trading, down 3,466 points at 64,277, yen exchange rate at 157.67

The Economic Information Daily reported on the 15th: Japanese stocks plunged in afternoon trading, with the Nikkei 225 Index at 64,277, down 3,466 points or 5.12%. The South Korean KOSPI Index was last at 5,528, down 480 points or 8%.

The U.S. dollar against the Japanese yen was last at 157.66/68.
