[ET Net News Agency, 16 October 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 258 points higher today at 24,321. It reached a high of 24,392, up 329 points, and a low of 24,087, up 24 points. The Hang Seng Index closed up 124 points, or 0.5%, at 24,186.
Southbound funds recorded a net outflow of HK$3.57b for the full day, decreased by 29.8%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were AIA (01299), TENCENT (00700) and CHINAHONGQIAO (01378) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were WUXI BIO (02269), XIAOMI-W (01810) and KB LAMINATES (01888) in that order.
