The Economic Times Correspondent reported on the 16th that U.S. President Trump said he does not rule out the use of the weapon known as the 'Mother of all Bombs' (Mother of all Bombs, abbreviated MOAB) against Iran after the U.S. midterm elections.
Trump said in an interview on Thursday (the 15th): 'The "Mother of all Bombs" is not a nuclear weapon, but an extremely powerful bomb. I won't use nuclear weapons. We don't need to do that.' Trump recently said he would not strike Iran before the November 3 election.
CNN recently cited informed officials reporting that the United States has developed strike plans that could include the use of the GBU-43/B massive air blast bomb, known as MOAB. MOAB is a thermobaric weapon, also known as a "vacuum bomb." (rc)
