[ET Net News Agency, 16 October 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 195 points lower today at 24,119. It reached a high of 24,162, down 151 points, and a low of 23,945, down 368 points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 251 points, or 1%, at 24,062.
Southbound funds recorded a net outflow of HK$5.08b for the full day, increased by 3661.5%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were TENCENT (00700) and CNOOC (00883) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were YOFC (06869), HUA HONG GRACE (01347) and SMIC (00981) in that order.
