[ET Net News Agency, 20 October 2026] According to data released by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388), among the top ten active stocks traded via "Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect" and "Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect" today, TENCENT (00700) and CNOOC (00883) saw a sharp surge in Southbound turnover. Total buying and selling amounts for TENCENT and CNOOC via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect reached HK$3.43b and HK$2.37b respectively, while total buying and selling amounts for TENCENT and CNOOC via the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect reached HK$2.04b and HK$1.48b respectively. TENCENT and CNOOC recorded net inflows of HK$1.15b and HK$275m, respectively.
