HK$71.33 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$9.22 billion, or 12.92% of the
market's turnover. There were 682 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-SW
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$798.23 million and HK$677.06
million, or 8.66% and 7.35% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 41.28% and 31.5% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and KUAISHOU-W (01024) registered HK$597.38 million and HK$360.27
million of short sales, accounting for 6.48% and 3.91% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 18.63% and 16.72% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.14, or 0.53%, to HK$26.76. BABA-SW ended up HK$0.1, or
0.06%, to HK$174. TENCENT rose HK$5.5, or 1.09% to HK$511. KUAISHOU-W jumped HK$4.55, or
4.71%, to HK$101.2.
