There were 687 short-selling stocks. BYD COMPANY (01211) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$888.66 million and HK$848.69 million, or 6.42% and 6.13% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 39.06% and 20.27% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$655.77 million and HK$440.46 million of short sales, accounting for 4.74% and 3.18% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 13.68% and 13.17% of respective stock's turnover.
