There were 667 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.99 billion and HK$851.54 million, or 12% and 5.14% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 56.38% and 39.12% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and SHK PPT (00016) registered HK$692.12 million and HK$670.38 million of short sales, accounting for 4.18% and 4.04% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 66.77% and 38.93% of respective stock's turnover.
